Cosmetic Dentistry FAQs
There are three types of teeth whiteners. Whitening toothpastes contain acidic chemicals and abrasives to whiten teeth. Over-the-counter teeth whiteners like strips and gel contain small amounts of hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide to bleach teeth. In-office whitening provides the safest, fastest, and most effective method with medical-grade hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide accelerated with an LED whitening light. The veneer procedure takes about two visits to complete. On the first visit, we prepare your teeth for veneers. Then, Dr. Frahm makes an impression on your teeth and sends them to a US dental lab to create your veneers. On the second visit, we place your new veneers on your teeth.
