Education
Dr. Sarah Frahm is a lifelong learner. She is committed to providing you with excellent, comprehensive dental care. Dr. Frahm uses advanced dental techniques and technology to ensure your comfort and lasting results.
Dr. Frahm received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2003. She is the proud recipient of the Edward H. Karl Award recognizing the most significant professional and academic growth. Dr. Frahm graduated from Cornell College in 1998 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and Business.
Dr. Frahm completes more than 100 hours of postdoctoral training each year; earning recognition from dental experts around the country for her knowledge in the areas of cosmetic, general and restorative dentistry. Career learning highlights include:
- Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies - Postgraduate course completion in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
- Spear Education – Postgraduate program completion in comprehensive dental care and advanced occlusion techniques.
- Dentists for Oral Conscious Sedation – certification in the administration of sedation care.
- New You Dentures – course completion for precision cosmetic denture fitting, and implant-secured denture placement for superior function.
Committed to our community
Dr. Frahm is the Vice President of the Monterey Bay Dental Society; she is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics.
Dr. Frahm is an active member of Rotary International, where she was recognized with a “Distinguished Rotarian” award in 2015. She also serves on the YMCA board and IMPOWER executive committee and is a member of the Robert Down PTA.
Dr. Frahm is originally from Iowa and lived in Taiwan for five years where she enjoyed extensive travel through Asia. She is married to a fellow Cornell College graduate who is a civilian attorney for the Defense Language Institute in Monterey. They have three young children. She and her family delight in travel, and love to explore National Parks. Always attentive to detail and passionate about artistic expression, Dr. Frahm’s hobbies include embroidery and yoga.
