End of year dental scheduling reminder

As we near the end of another year, don’t forget to schedule your dental visits. Whether you’re overdue for a cleaning or you’ve delayed some much-needed dental work, there are a few good reasons to schedule your appointment soon.

Beat the end-of-year rush

With the holidays approaching, beat the rush. Schedule your cleaning or dental visits for the fall. If you have any concerning issues like dental pain or a cracked tooth, book a visit now. As the end of the year approaches, it gets harder to find available appointments.  This is because most folks want to maximize dental benefits.

Dental insurance benefits-use it or lose it

Another reason to schedule a visit before the end of the year is to take advantage of your dental insurance benefits. Plan deductibles and maximums expire on December 31st and if you don’t use them, you lose them.

If you are unsure how much of your dental deductible you’ve used this year, we can help. We’ll let you know how much has been billed to your insurance and how much is left on your plan. We’ll even let you know how to maximize your benefits.

Using funds from your HSA

HSA funds you and your employer have contributed to can be used for dental work like crowns and restorations. We’re happy to help you understand what funds must be used by the end of the year and if any of your funds roll over.

And, if you think you’ll need major dental work next year, we’ll help you estimate how much should go into your HSA to cover your future dental needs.

If time has gotten away from you, give us a call anyway. If you can be flexible, ask to be put on our waitlist. When last minute cancellations occur, we’re happy to let you know about availability. And, by all means, if you have a dental emergency like bleeding, infection or loose teeth, please let us know. We always make time to accommodate patients who require immediate assistance.

We look forward to seeing you before the end of the year. Contact us via our webform or give us a call at 831-372-8011. We are conveniently located office at 660 Camino Aguajito #201 in Monterey, CA 93940.
